Good taste, good for nature, good for mankind

Since November 2005, Deavas pralines proudly carry the “Fairtrade” label Max Havelaar.

The fair trade allows in an organized and controlled manner to improve the living standards of small producers by offering a fair price for their production. This price takes into account the needs of the producers in order for them to make a profit from their sales.

Deavas collaborates with cooperatives in Peru, Ecuador, Santo-Domingo, …
Even some product packaging is produced in Madagascar in a fair trade manner.

The Max Havelaar label guarantees consumers that the products sold are issued from fair trade.

The Deavas logo, represented by two hands holding one another, stands for the cooperation between the North and the South.
It reproduces the cocoa bean, the work “made by hand”. It summarizes Deavas’ mission:
Pure cocoa for real chocolates.
